Dean Goldman will discuss how Darwin arrived at Natural Selection as a mechanism for evolutionary change.  His presentation will focus mostly on how Darwin drew inspiration from the breeding community, how they interacted, and how artificial selection in animals and plants overlaps with and is consistent with the principles of selection in nature.
