Jane Shoup - Professor Emerita of Biological Sciences at Purdue University, where she taught for more than 30 years. She holds the A.B. in biology from the University of Rochester and a Ph.D. in zoology from the University of Chicago. In the last several years she has presented short courses on Darwin and his legacy, the Sixth Mass Extinction, and Living Within Limits, for the LIFE (Learning Is ForEver) program for senior citizens at the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point. Jane and her husband Stefan live in retirement in rural NE central WI, in a solar home on 150 wooded acres.
