subject [Atheists_Agnostics_WI] AAW Picnic is ON!

Here's the NWS forecast for Madison:

"SUNDAY...PARTLY SUNNY. SLIGHT CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS IN THE MORNING...THEN CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS IN THE AFTERNOON. HIGHS IN THE UPPER 70S. SOUTHEAST WINDS UP TO 10 MPH. CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS 30 PERCENT. RAINFALL TRACE TO 0.05 INCH. PRECIPITATION DURATION OF UP TO 3 HOURS."

So let's take our chances. Doesn't sound like we'd get TOO wet even if it does rain a little. The AAW Summer Solstice Picnic is ON!

Once again, it'll be held beginning at NOON near the front parking lot at the entrance to the Henry Vilas Zoo, in Madison's Vilas Park. Map: http://www.cityofmadison.com/parks/vilasPark.html

The entrance is on the southwest corner of the intersection of South Randall Avenue and Drake Street, but you shouldn't expect there to be spaces left IN the parking lot by the time you arrive. The zoo is open from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM, and it's gonna be jammed. You'll probably end up parking on a nearby street unless you're lucky enuf to get there just as somebody else is leaving.

Please bring a dish to pass. I'll be providing paper plates and napkins, styrofoam cups, plastic utensils, and a cooler full of pop and ice.
